Last week a guy friend and I were having a debate about whether guys could call guys good looking because girls do it all the time. “It’s just different” was a reply used over and over again, but there was never an explanation as to why it was different. To me, there is no difference. I would not judge a guy because he comments in passing that another guy is particularly good looking, handsome or dapper just like a guy would not judge me for saying a girl was pretty or beautiful because its commonplace and acceptable.
Take Andrej Pejic, for example…

And I am curious… if I were to show my guy friends photos of the oh so androgynous Serbian born, Australian raised Andrej Pejic, modelling just like he did for the Gaultier fashion show where Gaultier dressed Pejic in drag as a woman to close the show - what would they think, not knowing that she was in fact, a he? Curiouser and curiouser…
He is actually the epitome of beautiful… is he not? X
