Last week a guy friend and I were having a debate about whether guys could call guys good looking because girls do it all the time. “It’s just different” was a reply used over and over again, but there was never an explanation as to why it was different. To me, there is no difference. I would not judge a guy because he comments in passing that another guy is particularly good looking, handsome or dapper just like a guy would not judge me for saying a girl was pretty or beautiful because its commonplace and acceptable.
Take Andrej Pejic, for example…

And I am curious… if I were to show my guy friends photos of the oh so androgynous Serbian born, Australian raised Andrej Pejic, modelling just like he did for the Gaultier fashion show where Gaultier dressed Pejic in drag as a woman to close the show - what would they think, not knowing that she was in fact, a he? Curiouser and curiouser…
He is actually the epitome of beautiful… is he not? X

My addition:
This is quite possibly the most depressingly beautiful movie I have seen in a very long time. It makes you smile up until this very moment… Perfectly shot, perfectly planned and combined with a perfect soundtrack, Joseph Gordon Levitt evokes such empathy in this role. He makes the top 5 actors I would feel privileged to interview as a writer. Every role he plays, emotion is key and integral to his characterisation, something obvious that not all actors realise. He does it with tact, and never overacts. From Brick to 500 Days of Summer, to Hesher and Inception; ability, versatility and intelligence is something you’re born with and he evidently has it all.
